When Light is Imprisoned
Main Article Content
Abstract
This poem portrays the struggle of a radiant, truthful force symbolized by the sun, trapped in a suffocating, dark environment. Despite being surrounded by oppressive shadows and forced into isolation, it continues to distribute light with honesty and resilience. The darkness represents hostile forces that appear companionable yet inherently destructive. In such conditions, the poem suggests that persistent resistance—even through painful संघर्ष—is preferable to surrender or self-destruction. The act of colliding with barriers becomes a metaphor for survival and defiance. Though misunderstood by others as self-harm, this struggle preserves fragments of light, hope, and identity for the future, ensuring that existence and purpose are not entirely extinguished.
