Section 2

Detailed Terms

2.1  Copyright and Licence

Authors retain full copyright in their own work. By submitting a manuscript to Integral Research, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make available the work in print, electronic, or any other format of publication — including the right to authorise reprinting to other publishing entities or corporations — encompassing all components of the article including text, diagrams, maps, and images. This grant does not transfer copyright ownership away from the authors. All published content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Full licence details: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/

2.2  Originality and Single Submission

By submitting a manuscript, all named authors confirm that the work is original and has not been previously published in any form — in whole or in substantial part — in any journal, book, conference proceeding, or other publication venue. Authors further confirm that the manuscript is not currently under consideration for publication at any other journal. Simultaneous or duplicate submission constitutes a serious breach of publication ethics and will result in immediate rejection and may lead to further action in accordance with COPE guidelines.

2.3  Third-Party Copyright Permission

Authors are solely responsible for obtaining prior written permission from the copyright holders of any third-party material included in the manuscript — including reproduced articles, extended quotations, tables, diagrams, maps, illustrations, and photographs. Evidence of such permissions must be available for inspection upon request by the editorial office. The journal accepts no liability for the unauthorised reproduction of third-party material.

2.4  Liability for Copyright Violation and Plagiarism

In the event that copyright infringement, plagiarism, or any other form of research misconduct is identified in a published or submitted article, sole legal and ethical responsibility rests with the author(s). The publisher (SAFE), the editorial board, and the editors of Integral Research cannot be held accountable or implicated in any such instance. Misconduct identified after publication will be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines and may result in retraction of the article.

2.5  No Royalty or Remuneration

The publisher and Integral Research do not pay authors, contributors, or researchers any form of royalty, honorarium, or financial remuneration for articles or other published content. Publication in the journal is undertaken on the understanding that no financial payment to authors will be made in connection with the publication of their work.

2.6  Formatting Compliance

Authors are required to prepare and submit the final accepted manuscript strictly in accordance with the formatting template and guidelines provided by Integral Research. Manuscripts that do not conform to the specified formatting requirements will be returned to the corresponding author for revision before publication can proceed.

2.7  Sharing and Archiving

All content published in Integral Research is made available under the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence. Readers, authors, and third parties are permitted to freely share, copy, redistribute, adapt, and archive the published material — including in institutional repositories and academic databases — for academic and non-commercial purposes only, provided that the original source and authors are properly credited, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes to the original are clearly indicated. Commercial use of published content without the express written permission of the copyright holder is strictly prohibited.

Section 3

Declaration Certificate

A signed declaration certificate must be provided by the corresponding author at the time of manuscript submission. The declaration must confirm all of the following:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been previously published in any form
  • The manuscript is not currently under consideration at any other journal or publication venue
  • All named authors have read, approved, and consented to the submission of the manuscript
  • All necessary permissions for the reproduction of third-party material have been obtained
  • All named authors have made a genuine intellectual contribution to the work (no ghost, guest, or honorary authorship)
  • All authors have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety

Note. Submissions received without a signed declaration certificate will not be entered into the editorial process and will be returned to the corresponding author.

Section 4

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

The Society for Academic Facilitation and Extension (SAFE) and Integral Research reserve the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Authors and contributors are advised to review the current Terms and Conditions on the journal website before each submission. Continued submission to the journal following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
