Abstract

Deendayal Upadhyaya was the pioneer of Integral Humanism, who presented a unique approach to the reconstruction of Indian society and culture. He believed that a holistic, egalitarian and harmonious society can be created by connecting Indian culture to its roots. This research analyzes his cultural approach, which considers the fundamental concept of Indian culture, its antiquity, and its relevance in the context of current society. The research also states that cultural reconstruction is not limited to the preservation of traditions, but it also includes solutions to the challenges of modern times. The research uses qualitative methods to study literature review and the writings, speeches and works of Deendayal Upadhyaya. Its findings show that his approach is still relevant for the harmony, cultural identity, and self-reliance of Indian society. This research provides a new vision towards Indian culture and shows how Deendayal Upadhyaya's ideological contribution can lead the society towards a strong, prosperous and balanced future.
