Paradigmatic Shifts in the Dynamics of Success: Aggressive Marketing Through Digital Culture
Main Article Content
Abstract
This essay examines the emergence of a new ideology shaped by digital culture, where influence, visibility, and success are increasingly driven by aggressive marketing and sensationalism. It argues that excessive emphasis on ritualistic religiosity and superficial narratives has diverted attention from innovation, critical thinking, and human potential, particularly among youth. Digital platforms, while enabling rapid information exchange, have also facilitated the spread of misinformation, propaganda, and emotionally manipulative content, disrupting social harmony and rational discourse. The rise of influencers and controversy-driven engagement reflects a shift from value-based achievement to visibility-based success. The essay further highlights the role of digital technology in enabling surveillance, control, and commercialization, contributing to cyber-crime and ethical decline. It calls for responsible and informed use of technology, emphasizing the need for digital literacy, critical awareness, and a reorientation toward constructive, ethical, and progressive engagement in an increasingly digitized world.
