Main Article Content
Abstract
India’s Northeast region, popularly known as the “Seven Sisters and One Brother,” is an important part of the country due to its rich cultural diversity, geographical significance, and strategic location. The states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, and Sikkim share international borders, and therefore face challenges related to security and national integration. Media can serve as a powerful medium to connect this region with the national mainstream.
