Main Article Content
Abstract
This research paper evaluates the current status, effectiveness, and challenges of teacher training at the higher education level in the Saran Division of Bihar (Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj). The study found that training opportunities in the Saran Division are limited, irregular, and suffer from a lack of resources. In alignment with NEP-2020 and UNESCO guidelines, the research suggests that training programs be strengthened through modernization, local contextualization, resource enhancement, continuity, and inter-institutional collaboration. The conclusion is that trained teachers are the key to the quality of higher education and the holistic development of society.
